With an exceptional blend of analytical insight and creative talent, Dr. Milena Anfosso has forged a distinctive path in her multifaceted exploration of human language.

Dr. Anfosso earned her Ph.D. in Historical Linguistics from Sorbonne University, Paris, and has held research roles at UCLA and Harvard University. Her scholarly achievements have been recognized with notable accolades, such as, among others, a Residency Fellowship at the Bogliasco Foundation (New York-Genoa) in 2024, the Harvard University Research Fellowship in Hellenic Studies in 2020, and the Award "Prix de la Vocation" from the Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet Foundation (Publicis Group) in 2015.

Her linguistic research encompasses both ancient and contemporary languages, demonstrating a deep engagement with language as a subject of study across different periods and regions. Additionally, she examines the role of language as a fundamental tool for expressing and preserving the beliefs, customs, and traditions of communities through folklore studies.

Beyond her academic endeavors, Milena explores language as a vehicle for artistic expression, delving into creative writing in both prose and poetry.
